Destinasi Wisata Kuliner Berbasis Makanan Tradisional di Kabupaten Toba Samosir

This research aims to know the impact of culinary tourism toward the interest of tourists visit tourism area in The Regency Of Toba Samosir, the perceptions of tourists towards the Batak traditional culinaries, and the suitable model for development of traditional culinary touris.The data analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis and the test of the correlations precessed by using SPSS 16.0 for Windows toward data got from the respondents answers. The type of this research is causality research that analyze how a variable influences other variable, where the independent variables will be controlled by the researcher to see the impacts to the dependent variabel. The independent variable is the availability of Batak traditional culinaries and the dependent variable is the interest of tourists in visiting the tourist area. The researcher involved 100 tourists those ever had meals in the Batak traditional restaurants in The District Of Ajibata. The research shows that the impact of the availibility of Batak traditional culinary tourism in The District Of Ajibata is 68,60 % towards the interests of tourists in visiting the tourism area and it also has positive and significant correlations towards the interests of tourists in visiting the place. Generally the services quality of the restaurants are positive perceived by the tourists. The models of the culinary tourism Batak traditional culinary base, particularly in The Distric Of Ajibata are suggested in two approaches, they are regarding to the menus and separated locations of the halal and non halal restaurants.
