Development of Community-Based Sustainable Tourism in Simamora Village, Baktiraja District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency

Simamora Village, Baktiraja District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency is one of the areas in North Sumatra which has great tourism potential. Simamora Village has an attractive natural beauty with shady trees, cool air, and beautiful scenery. Simamora Village also has unique arts and cultural activities, such as traditional dances and gondang music. However, tourism development in Simamora Village is not yet optimal and not sustainable. Therefore, this study aims to develop community-based sustainable tourism in Simamora Village, Baktiraja District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. The analysis technique used in this study is research that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observed behavior. Meanwhile, descriptive research is a form of research aimed at describing or describing existing phenomena, both natural phenomena and human engineering. There are also conclusions from this study. The tourism potential of Simamora Village is very large, especially natural and cultural tourism. However, this potential has not been properly maximized due to a lack of attention and support from the government and the local community. The development of community-based sustainable tourism in Simamora Village can be carried out by strengthening the community's role in the management and development of tourism, so as to improve the economic welfare of the local community. In developing community-based sustainable tourism, it is necessary to carry out a participatory approach between the government, the community and other tourism actors. Strengthening the local economy can be done through developing unique and sustainable tourism products, developing homestays and local restaurants, and empowering local communities as tourism business actors. Support and coordination between stakeholders is needed in the development of community-based sustainable tourism in Simamora Village, especially support from the local government in terms of infrastructure and regulations.

Analysis of the Pillars of Sustainable Tourism Development in Ujung Kulon National Park, Indonesia

Sustainable or sustainable-based tourism has become the main focus of tourism development in Indonesia. The government and various stakeholders are involved in efforts to conserve nature, wise destination management, and empower local communities. One of the tourism destinations in Indonesia that carries a sustainable concept is a national park, one of the national parks in Indonesia that has an attraction for tourists is Ujung Kulon National Park. Ujung Kulon National Park is working with the Indonesian Rhinoceros Foundation (YABI) and the International Rhino Foundation in conserving the Javan rhino population by planning the construction of the Javan Rhino Study and Conservation Area (JRSCA). Based on this, efforts to protect the natural environment and biodiversity can be supported by designing the development of Ujung Kulon National Park as a tourist object by applying a sustainable approach. This research is a qualitative descriptive one that describes, describes, and describes the object under study (Arikunto, 2006). Research data obtained through primary and secondary data. Data analysis used is qualitative data analysis and SWOT analysis. The results of the linkage analysis of the 4 pillars of tourism development namely Destinations, marketing, industry and institutions, the industrial pillars have not supported optimally because they are only supported by homestays from people who lack knowledge in service and waste management. The recommendations from SWOT are developing sustainable and community-based tour packages to attract tourists who care about the environment, developing a planned visit management program by dividing tourist zones and limiting access to sensitive areas. Sustainable or sustainable-based tourism has become the main focus of tourism development in Indonesia, to measure the development of Ujung Kulon National Park is in accordance with the sustainable concept.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Development of Pasar Kamu Tourism Object as a Leading Culinary Tourism in Denai Lama Deli Serdang Village". The purpose of this research is an effort to introduce your Market attractions to readers. This research was located in Denai Lama Village, Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method where this research focuses on the introduction and development of Pasar Kamu culinary tourism. The data collection methods carried out in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. The types of data used to conduct this study are primary data and secondary data. This study will take place from March 2023 to May 2023. The result of this study is that the author knows that Pasar Kamu stands for Pekan Sarapan Karya Anak Muda, where Pasar Kamu was formed based on the manager's desire to create a Pekan sheltered by young people from Denai Lama Village. The manager wants to re-introduce traditional culinary to the community, especially the younger generation through this week. To create a creative and innovative Breakfast Week, the manager makes a uniqueness in the transaction tool in your market, namely by using tempu as legal tender. Tempu is made of coconut shells which is shaped like a coin, where coconut shells are natural resources that are found in Denai Lama Village. With this uniqueness, the manager managed to bring many tourists from outside Pantai Labu District to visit to enjoy traditional culinary served in the midst of a lush atmosphere of bamboo trees and coconut trees. That way the manager has succeeded in developing your Market as a culinary tourism destination that must be visited in Deli Serdang.

Potential of Batu Lumbang Mangrove Ecotourism as Tourism Destination in Tahura, Bali

Batu Lumbang Mangrove Ecotourism boasts a variety of natural, cultural, and social potentials that can attract tourists. However, this potential isn't fully supported by the readiness of facilities and infrastructure. This research aims to uncover the potential of mangrove ecotourism as a tourist destination. The research employs a descriptive qualitative analysis method. Data collection, processing, and analysis were carried out based on the six components of tourism, attraction, accessibility, amenities, package, activities, and ancillary. In conclusion, this study underscores the potential of mangroves as a tourism destination. However, the identified obstacles through the 6A approach underline the need for comprehensive management efforts to enhance the area's infrastructure and facilities, in alignment with the principles of ecotourism and sustainable tourism. By effectively and sustainably managing tourism destinations, the local community stands to benefit.

Analysis of Factors that Influence Interest in Visiting Padang Beach Tourism, West Sumatra

Padang Beach is a beach located in Padang City, West Sumatra. This beach is situated in a densely populated urban area in the West Padang District. The author aimed to determine the factors and their respective impacts, particularly the most significant factor, on tourist interest. In this research, 150 respondents who had visited Padang Beach more than twice were surveyed. The sampling method used in this study was purposive sampling, encompassing five variables: Tourism Product Quality, Tourism Product Image, Customer Value, Product Attractiveness, and Repeat Visit Intention.

Hypothesis testing was carried out using regression analysis, and the results concluded that these factors significantly influence the tourist interest and the number of visitors to Padang Beach. The research findings indicate that tourists are attracted to visit Padang Beach for a second time or even more, taking into account the quality, image, customer value, and attractiveness of the beach itself. The beach's unique qualities undoubtedly play a vital role in attracting tourists to Padang Beach.

Front Office Service Recovery at Wyndham Palembang Hotel

One way to find out guests' needs and wants is by listening to complaints. Complaints are usually received by hotels when a service failure has occurred. These results show that service recovery is a complex process where everything must be taken into account in ensuring that guests are happy when they check out. In this study, the determination of informants was carried out using purposive sampling technique. Informants in the study were determined to be parties who were considered capable of providing the information needed, namely Front Office employees at Wyndham Opi Hotel, Palembang. The purpose of this research is to analyze optimal guest satisfaction is important in operations in the Front Office Department at Wyndham Opi Hotel, Palembang, if guests have complaints during their stay at Wyndham Opi Hotel must be given a solution to their discomfort.

Potential for Accommodation in Supporting Tourism Development in Lahat Regency

The real sector is one of those places with huge tourist potential and natural resources. Each tourist activity was taken, a hotel became very much needed, since the original stopover from a trip to a tourist destination. The number of accommodations already enabled the number of incoming tourists. But the number of accommodations has not reached a target in accommodating living rooms so the purpose of this research is to know the potential and importance of accommodation in the lrest district. The type of research that is used is a qualitative kind of research and as for the data-collection techniques done by the way a questionnaire does an interview and a questionnaire. Whereas the technical data analysis used is using swot analysis (strength, fatigue, oppotunities and threats). Based on the above research, potential accommodation in supporting tourism development in the district will greatly contribute to meeting the needs of the visiting tourists as well as the development of tourism in the Lahat district.

Tourist Destination Service Capacity Analysis to Achieve Target Tourism Sector Market in Sabang City

The research aims to determine the capacity of tourist destination services based on three aspects: tourist attractions, accommodation, and accessibility as well as obstacles in the development of the tourism sector in the city of Sabang, so that the target market of tourists from the north and abroad can be increased. Attention to the capacity of tourist destination services in the city of Sabang should also be oriented towards convenience through ideal capacity. Analysis of tourist destination service capacity and its obstacles using the concept of the Bottleneck framework. The concept used is combined with the method of qualitative analysis supported by purposive sampling techniques. The research finds that the capacity of tourist destination services in Sabang City is not ideal. In terms of accessibility, obstacles were found due to no longer operational airport services and the limited capacity of ships in ports during holidays. In terms of amenities, there was an obstacle to the food and beverage service, such as the limited availability of seats making visitors uncomfortable. On the aspect of attractions, it was found that restrictions on the number of cultural attractions and the limitation on the number of visitors to art activities had an impact on the discomfort of the visitors during the performance.
