Abstract

One of the institutions in the formal education pathway is preparing graduates to have an advantage in the world of work, including through vocational educations channels, especially. Tourism midwives. Vocational education has different characteristics, from other education units. The difference can be assessed in terms of educational objectives, substance of study, important need in the future. Vocational Education in the XX1 century continues to be developed in line with technological developments both macro and micro, accompanied by the development of Human Resource to support the success of vocational education, especially in the field of tourism in Indonesia. Indonesia places vocational education as part of the national education system to prepare graduates to work or continue to a higher level or work independently as an entrepreneur. This goal contains three main aspect, namely having work competence, character (personality and noble character) for independent living (live skills), and career development through vocational education
